These vehicles follow immediately from
ZIS-5 and
its modification
ZIS-21. UralZIS took production of ZIS-5
in 1944, ZIS-21, which was no longer produced after 1941, was
also handed over for production as UralZIS-21A in 1946-1952. Note
that from what I know, UralZIS-21A is a copy of ZIS-21. Then, in
1952, a few internal modifications on UralZIS-21A were made, but
the look of the truck remained the same, and this vehicle
received the name Ural-352. This truck was very similar to UralAZ-21A
and was made 1952-1956. Then in 1956
Ural-355, with a new different and more
modern look and parts came to the assembly line. Later modified
to
Ural-355M [1958-1965].
