"Russian tractor" was designed by Ya.V.Mamin, who was a student of Blinov. This vehicle was intended for ploughing with 3-corpus or 6-corpus trailer-type plough and for moving stationary machines. Overall, only 4 such tractors were made, they were produced at the "Plant of crude oil powered engines and tractors of Ya.V.Mamin" located in Blakov, Saratov region.

Famous Russian engineer, Mamin, developed 2 models of tractor: one with 25 hp engine and another with 45 hp engine. Both were based on the chassis referred to as "Russian tractor". It was the first wheeled tractor in Russia that was more reliable and with a simpler design then a caterpillar tractor. This was alsothe first tractor to feature an internal combustion engine which was much lighter, economical and simple in management then a steam engine. This engine worked on crude oil. Manufacturing of this tractor was ended in 1914 due to the WWI.
